Marty the goat
Mama Bean’s Baby

Marty

Nubian Boy Goat • Mama Bean’s Sweet Pea

Also called: Marty McFly, Mar-Mar, Marme

“Mama Bean’s little baby — he follows her everywhere.”

Marty is a very special boy and the twin brother of Marian, whom he loves very much and has never left her side. Marty is full of personality and always wants to play. He can get a little rowdy sometimes — he’s still a growing boy! Marty is a personal favorite of Mama Bean’s, and you can catch him still trying to curl up in her lap like he used to when he was a kid (that’s another word for baby goat). Everyone on the farm loves to play with Marty!

Loves to play on his mini trampoline Silly and a bit mischievous ! Will headbutt for treats

Farm Sweetheart

Marian

Nubian Milking Goat • Farm Sweetheart

Also called: Marian the Librarian, Marian Girl, Mari-Sweetheart

“The sweetest soul on the whole farm.”

Marian is a female goat called a doe. She hopes to be a mommy one day and provide milk for the Bean family. Marian and Marty are actually twins, and they came from a very special farm owned by very special people! When Marian was just 2 weeks old her mommy got sick, so Marian came to live in the Bean home and was bottle-fed for 6 weeks. Marian is very fond of Teen Bean, and they play together often — you can even catch them playing hide and seek from time to time! Marian is the farm sweetheart, with her sweet looks and good-natured personality.

Loves to lay out in the sun Sweet, friendly & totally loveable ! Likes to eat Daddy Bean’s roses

Jack the dog
Good Ol’ Boy

Jack

Farm Dog • Best Buddy & Lead Napper

Also called: Jack-Jack, Jackie, Wacky Jacky

“Just a good ol’ boy who loves his people and his farm.”

Jack is the best farm dog! He loves all of his farm family very much. Jack-Jack takes his job very seriously here on the farm — he is always the first one up in the morning, ready to eat and head out on morning patrol. Jack has one job he takes more seriously than any other: NAPPING. Jackie loves to nap and can sleep anywhere at any time, but his favorite spots are on the ottoman in the living room or with Baby Bean at the end of her bed. Jack was a rescue pup, found as a stray after a very bad storm, so sometimes loud noises can scare him. Don’t you worry though — Jack is such a good boy, and he’s always ready for his next farm adventure.

Dirt baths & sunny naps Loves to cuddle Baby Bean ! Fastest learner on the farm

Margo the cat
Basket Keeper

Margo

Mixed-Breed Shorthair Kitty • Basket Keeper

Also called: Margo Mustache, Margey, Mar-Mar

“If there’s a basket, Margo will be inside it — mustache and all.”

Margo was adopted by the Bean family at their local Humane Society. Little Bean picked her out specifically because, if you look real close, you’ll see Margo has a cute little mustache! Margo was really sick when she was adopted, and she has to keep taking medicine for the rest of her kitty life. You’d never know she’s sick though — she has the silliest energy of any of the farm animals! She is always on the go, running through the house and begging for treats and love. Margo LOVES baskets, maybe a little more than most cats. The Beans have special baskets set up all over the house just for her — be sure to count how many different baskets you see her in during her videos!

Boxes & baskets are her thing Loves to play and be silly ! Always there to lend a helping paw

Lucy the cat
The Queen

Lucy

Shorthaired Cat • Reigning Royalty

Also called: Lu-Lu, Luli, Queen Lucy

“The queen of the farm — and she knows it.”

Lucy was adopted at the same time as Margo. Teen Bean picked her out — well, actually, Lucy picked Teen Bean! The Bean family knows her best as Queen Lucy because she rules the roost. Lucy and Margo were originally going to be barn cats (that means living outside), but Queen Lucy had other ideas. She is a very happy girl, living her best life inside. She has the most attitude and decides daily which of her royal Bean subjects will be her favorite.

Holds court from her favorite chair Regal, patient & particular ! Subjects approach with respect

Michelangelo the turtle
Farm Explorer

Michelangelo

Wild Box Turtle • Pond Dweller

Also called: Mikey

“Slow and steady wins the race — and finds the best hiding spots.”

Meet Michelangelo! The Bean family found this sweet little box turtle in the road one day and brought him home to live safely by the pond at Friendly Farm. Michelangelo is a bit different from our other farm friends because he lives in the woods, where he is most at home. We’re going to do a special monthly video called “Let’s See If We Can Find Michelangelo!” — so keep your eyes peeled for our slow-and-steady farm explorer.

Lives by the pond in the woods Quiet, gentle & wonderfully wild ! Star of monthly “Find Michelangelo” videos

the chickens
Seagulls of the Farm

The Chickens

Egg-Laying Hens • Plus a Rooster or Two

“The seagulls of the farm — first to spot a snack, last to leave.”

The Bean family’s chickens are many! They range from 5 years old all the way down to 6 weeks old — different colors, breeds, and sizes. They lay different-colored eggs too: some lay white, others lay brown, and some even lay blue eggs. Isn’t that AWESOME? Even though the chickens are all different, they all cluck, dig, roost, and some even cuddle with the Bean family. Chickens are so enjoyable to watch, listen to, and be around. The Beans all agree the best part of having chickens is the sweet gifts they give — laying their beautiful eggs every morning.

Leading morning parades Always first in line for snacks ! Have a special cluck for greetings
