Hey all! We’re the Bean Family, coming straight to you from Friendly Farm.
Before we get started, we want you to know that our personal names and our farm have been given code names to protect the privacy of our home and family. In our videos, you’ll see our faces as little beans — a fun, private way for us to share our lives with you.
We wanted a farm for as long as we can remember. We prayed, we dreamed, and we even practiced what we could right in the middle of the city. We watched and learned from a very special YouTube family who helped us think through this dream long before we knew it would ever come true.
About three years ago, God blessed our family with a wonderful old farmhouse and a few acres of land. We’ve learned so much in our time here, and we keep learning every single day. It’s fun, exciting, hard, and a true gift to be part of country living.
A few months ago, Mama Bean sat down with a dear friend who said, “You have to figure out how to share your lives with others.” That was hard for us — social media really isn’t our family’s thing — so we prayed and talked through what it could look like. How could we keep ourselves safe and share our story at the same time? We’ve done our best to bring those two together: safety and sharing. We hope you love learning about the farm as much as we love sharing our blessings with you.
And there are so many people in our lives who deserve a great big thank-you shout-out. Without our friends and family, this lifestyle simply wouldn’t be possible. From the bottom of our hearts: thank you — you know who you are.
Daddy Bean is always working on a project or out in the garden. He works incredibly hard, loves his family deeply, and is always on the move. His favorite farm friend is Jack — Jack-Jack loves to come along on adventures all around the farm with him.
Mama Bean makes the farm fun happen! She takes care of the family, the animals, and the day-to-day needs of the farm — and she loves every minute of it. Her favorite farm friend is Marty. The two of them share a special bond and love each other dearly. If Marty could live inside, he would — but he’d eat absolutely everything, so he simply can’t.
Teen Bean is the one you want when a farm friend is in trouble. We call her our Chicken Whisperer — she usually knows what’s wrong before anyone else and does her very best to keep the animals healthy. She also has a special gift for art and creates most of the artwork in our videos. Teen Bean has two favorite farm friends: Marian, her sweetest companion (they love playing hide-and-seek, and as soon as Teen Bean comes home from school, Marian maaa’s for her to come play), and Margo Mustache, who runs to cuddle her every morning.
Baby Bean is our go-getter — she loves to go-go-go. She helps in every part of the farm, but her very favorite is being part of helping things grow. She knows every tomato and apple we raise, and she always eats the very first blueberry of the season. She isn’t afraid to get muddy, and we love that about her — farm life can be a little messy! Her favorite farm friend is also Jack; Jacky sleeps with Baby Bean every single night. One day she hopes to have a Call Duck and a rabbit — and you can bet they’ll be her new favorites the moment they arrive.
All of our videos are recorded and edited for family fun, growth, and a hopeful learning experience. We’re thoughtful about everything we do and say, praying it adds joy to your family’s farm experience.
We treat every animal with care, and we hope every viewer feels that we share our lives with them in mind. Every moment is offered with you in our hearts.

Our Christian faith is the heart of this channel. We believe in goodness, in caring for God’s creatures, and in building something that reflects those values for every family watching.
We started Friendly Farm Friends because we wanted to create something good. Something our own kids — and yours — could grow up watching without us worrying. Thank you for trusting us with your family’s time. We don’t take it lightly.
